Happy New Year…And Stop Smoking with Hypnosis!

Yes, yes, I know…you've heard it all before! Since one of my favorite roles is to educate the community, I'm going to give you the grim facts about smoking:

  • Smokers are 1.7 times more likely to die a premature death from coronary artery disease; 6 times more likely to die from bronchitis and emphysema, and 10 times more likely to die from lung cancer.
  • Every year, 340,000 people die because they smoke.
  • Smoking causes cancer in the lungs, larynx, or cavity and is a contributory factor to cancer of the bladder, kidneys, and pancreas.
  • Cigarette smoking is the overwhelming reason men die approximately eight years sooner than women.
  • Lung cancer in women is expected to surpass breast cancer as the number one cancer killer among women.
  • Women smokers under age 50 are five times as likely to have heart attacks.
  • Babies and young children breathe faster…therefore, they inhale more air and more pollutants…such as cigarette smoke.
  • Inhaling secondhand smoke makes your heart beat faster, your blood levels of carbon monoxide increase, and your blood pressure go up. In addition, smoke from a lit cigarette contains even more tar and nicotine than an inhaled one.

Are you tired of being bullied around by cigarettes? Have you tried to quit on your own and just couldn't manage it? Perhaps you became too cranky and anxious. Perhaps your family begged you to start smoking again! Or maybe you managed to stay away from cigarettes for awhile, but then started smoking again because you couldn't stand to watch yourself gain weight.

Well, the good news is that you can stop smoking permanently…without gaining weight. As a matter of fact, there's a good chance that you will lose weight if you stop smoking with my hypnosis program! After all, the drive to smoke originates in the mind…not the body!

The most important factor in you becoming a non-smoker through the use of hypnosis is that you have to truly want to be a non-smoker. Hypnosis is not mind control, so if you really don't want to quit, your subconscious mind will simply reject all of the suggestions, and there will be no change in your behavior. The hypnotherapist cannot make you do anything that you don't want to do.
